Notes
The PumpDrive 2 family has no native Modbus TCP interface: the drive is fitted with KSB's Modbus RTU fieldbus module (Profibus DP, ProfiNet, LON and BACnet MS/TP are the alternatives), so reaching it over TCP needs a Modbus RTU-to-TCP gateway in front of the RS-485 module; this map then applies unchanged. All values are 32-bit and occupy two registers, transmitted big-endian with the high word first; reads use function code 03, writes function code 16 (coil commands 05). Addresses above are the hex 'Modbus address' values from KSB's register list for firmware 2.1 and later, used as zero-based wire addresses - KSB's 4xxxx register numbers are the same addresses plus 40001 (0x0000 = 40001, 0x0100 = 40257). Registers 0x0000-0x00FE belong to the system, 0x0100-0x01FF to pump 1, and pumps 2-6 follow in blocks of 0x0100 (pump 2 starts at 0x0200 / 40513), configured per drive with parameter 3-12-2-4. Values are transmitted in the unit configured on the drive (pressure, flow, level, temperature, power), so the unit column is left empty for those process values. In a multi-pump system with the Modbus module in the master drive, the registers of all pumps can be read through the master. The module's factory serial settings are address 1, 19200 bps, even parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit (menu 3-12-2). KSB EtaLine Pro pumps use the same optional Modbus RTU module but KSB publishes a separate address list for them, so do not apply this PumpDrive 2 table to an EtaLine Pro; only the PumpDrive 2 / PumpDrive 2 Eco drives are covered here.
