Installation Instructions

Windows Installation

  1. Download the .exe installer
  2. Run the installer and follow the setup wizard
  3. Launch Modbus Connect from the Start menu

macOS Installation (Unsigned App)

  1. Download and open the .dmg file
  2. Right-click the app package and select "Show Package Contents"
  3. Navigate to the "MacOS" folder
  4. Double-click the "modbus-connect" file to launch the app

Note: The app is not signed, so macOS Gatekeeper will block it if you try to open it normally. Follow the steps above to run it.

Linux Installation

  1. RPM: Download and run sudo rpm -i Modbus*.rpm
  2. DEB: Download and run sudo dpkg -i Modbus*.deb
  3. Launch from your application menu or terminal
