Notes

Source: Belimo "ModBus Interface Description xBALL 4.0", edition 2026-09, document date 30.06.26, vendor document belimo_Modbus-Register_xBALL_V4_0_en-gb.pdf (belimo.com answers automated document requests with HTTP 403, so the identical Belimo MAM document was read from Belimo's regional mirror www.belimo.ro; the mirrored file's SHA-256 is f5a5f5a0ccae2852b33d58a6424813a39021ff65d244c527486b03ae238fc5be). The document states the transmission formats with default 1-8-N-2, the baud rates with default 19'200 Bd and the node address range 1...247 with default 19, which is what the serial block records. It also states that all data is addressed by 1..n (Register No.) or 0..n-1 (Address), so the "Address" column is stored and addressing is zero_based. Registers are holding registers read with function 03 and written with 06/16; the alarm and enabling bits are coils (01/05). All register values are signed integers except the rows the document marks **) as unsigned, which is the identity and serial block R101-R116, hence UInt16 there. Scaling and units are the document's own columns. The barg/psig and degC/degF register pairs (R401-R413, R501-R513) are both present and scaled 0.1; the measurement block R1-R13 and the configuration block R301-R341 carry the scaling the document prints next to each row. The refrigerant enumeration rows R303-R305 and the PIN entry register are not included: the enumeration rows are printed as ".." continuations of the R302 refrigerant table, and the PIN entry register's address is printed as "R206" in the source, which contradicts the register overview.
