RS-485 device: reach it through a Modbus RTU-to-TCP gateway using the factory serial settings above. Source: Siemens "SENTRON Measuring devices 7KT16 energy meter - Equipment Manual", edition 07/2023, document 2514284147-07, section 6.4.3 "Modbus address table for three-phase devices 80 A with Modbus interface" (continuous measured values and energy meters), free download at https://support.industry.siemens.com/cs/attachments/109759827/MAN_2514284147-07_en_en-US.pdf . That table is the one for the 7KT1665 / 7KT1666 80 A direct-connection devices; the 5 A transformer devices use the section 6.4.2 map, which is a different address list. Addresses are the hex values of the table (0002h = 2) and are used as wire addresses; the values are read with function code 03 or 04. Factors are the table's "Factor" column (voltages x0.01, currents x0.0001, powers x0.01, power factor x0.0001) and the energy counters are whole Wh/varh. Factory serial settings are the factory settings of parameters P8-01...P8-05 (section 3.4): node address 001, 9600 baud, "8 bit no parity" data format, 1 stop bit, Modbus RTU. Reserved rows (002Ch, 002Eh, 0030h, 0038h) and the tariff/per-phase tariff energy block (1B48h...) are not listed, and neither are the per-phase *partial* energy rows: in the manual the label column of 1A56h/1A58h and 1A66h/1A68h repeats "Export" for both the import and the export counter, so those four rows cannot be attributed without guessing. The 1F20h wiring-test status word and the 2FF0h command registers are read-only status / write-only commands and are documented in the same manual.
